Frequently Asked Questions - Got a question? Confused? See if these help.
- I'd like to add a quote or something to my photo. Do you have any ideas?
Sure! Team names, player names and dates always look nice , but we also have some great
inspirational sayings you can include as well.
If you would like to add one of these, just indicate the number on your order. You can also add one of your own ideas.
- How can I get Moore Action Shots to come take pictures at my athlete's event?
It's as easy as sending an email or making a phone call. Just send an
e-mail to
marta@mooreactionshots.com
with a few possible game dates
and we'll put you on the schedule. We'll make every effort to photograph
all players on your team, and we'll hand out informational flyers to
anyone who might be interested in viewing the photos. Contact us as soon
as you get your team's schedule - times fill up quickly.
- How much does it cost to have a photographer come out to an
event?
Absolutely nothing! We are so sure that the parents on your team
will love the photos that we do not charge a reservation fee.
- How do I view the pictures taken at my event?
All photographs can be viewed by visiting this website. Most events
are posted within 24 hours, but some (tournament games, etc.) may take
up to 48 hours. Just click on the VIEW PHOTOS link on the Home Page,
then look for your sport and age group. Scroll down to find your event.
- What sports do you photograph?
Moore Action Shots has taken pictures of athletes at all levels, from youth to professional. Football,
baseball, basketball, softball, wrestling, soccer, tennis, track, golf -- all make fantastic pictures.
We've done individual games and entire tournaments. Even dog-agility competitions are great photo opportunities.
- What sports DON'T you photograph?
Each sport poses it's own unique challenges and opportunities, but we have found swimming to be the
toughest sport to photograph. If you'd like us to capture your swimmer in action, we'll want to come
to one of the better lit venues and we will need your help in identifying the correct race and lane for your athlete.
- Do you do weddings or senior pictures?
No, we work strictly with athletes, but we are fortunate to know some great photographers who excel
in that line of work and we'd be glad to give you a recommendation.
- Do you do Team & Individual photos?
Yes, we do. We offer indoor and
outdoor sessions designed to meet your organizations' needs. We work with the program director
to coordinate the schedule, then we take complete control of the process--making that aspect of
the director's job worry-free. Our turn around time is usually less than 2 weeks. To learn more
about what we can do for your program send an email to
marta@mooreactionshots.com and we'll be glad to present
our product packet to your organization.
- How are the photos developed?
All prints are developed in a professional lab on high quality
Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper. They will be shipped directly to you
from the developer.
- How long does it take to receive the pictures?
After we receive your order, the photos will go through final
editing before they are uploaded to the developer. Once printed, the
photos will be shipped directly to your home. This entire process takes
no more than 14 days, usually less. If you have a special need, 2-day
and overnight deliveries can be arranged.
- How do I pay for my order?
Once your order has been edited and sent to the developer, you will
receive an email explaining your total and giving you the address where
you'll send your check. An invoice is also included inside each photo
shipment. Please put your check in the mail as quickly as possible.
- Can I still order photos once they have been removed from the website?
Absolutely! Pictures and posters make great birthday and holiday
gifts for everyone on your list. All photos are saved on disk and can be
ordered for up to a year after they have been taken. However, files are typically
removed from the web site after 30 days to make room for new photos. Requests involving
the reposting of an entire event may be subject to a 15% surcharge. Reprints of pictures
already purchased will NOT be surcharged.
